Maddie is a young princes. She sneaks out at night to hunt small animals, her parents try to tell her not to because it is very dangerous in the forest at night. She pretends to listen but she does not! Will is Maddie’s Uncle and Godfather. His wife died in a fire and now he does not laugh smile or really do any thing. Maddie’s parents decided, with some help from there friends that they would have Will take on Maddie as an apprentice to train for a ranger! They are hoping that this will stop Maddie from sneaking out at night and they also hope that this will snap Will out of his stage.
